# Focustown vs Focus Pet

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Focustown at 7.5K against Focus Pet's 3. Focustown also leads on chart position (#122 vs unranked) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 days). Focus Pet's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focustown sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Focus Pet sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Pet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focustown has 7.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Focustown's written reviews are positive against 100% of Focus Pet's.

Focustown ships an update every 2 days, Focus Pet every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
