# Focustown vs Focus Planet

The clearest difference is ads: Focus Planet at none against Focustown's shown. Focus Planet also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Focustown's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days) and ratings volume (7.5K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focustown sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Focus Planet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Planet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focustown has 7.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focustown ships an update every 2 days, Focus Planet every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
