# Focustown vs StudentHub

The clearest difference is ads: StudentHub at none against Focustown's shown. StudentHub also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Focustown's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (8.4K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focustown sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and StudentHub sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 6 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudentHub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focustown has 8.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focustown ships an update daily, StudentHub every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
