# WeightSnap vs HereForIt

The clearest difference is ratings volume: WeightSnap at 90 against HereForIt's 5. HereForIt's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeightSnap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and HereForIt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for WeightSnap against 5.0 for HereForIt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeightSnap has 90 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

WeightSnap ships an update weekly, HereForIt every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
