# Task Memo vs Neko Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Neko Notes at every 4 days against Task Memo's every 2 months. Neko Notes also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Memo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Neko Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Memo ships an update every 2 months, Neko Notes every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
