# ReadFast vs Léelo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Léelo at every 3 days against ReadFast's every 7 months. ReadFast's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReadFast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Léelo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReadFast ships an update every 7 months, Léelo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
