# Diecast Keeper vs Modcar

The clearest difference is rating: Modcar at 4.6 against Diecast Keeper's 4.0. Modcar also leads on ratings volume (63 vs 1). Diecast Keeper's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diecast Keeper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Modcar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Modcar holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Modcar has 63 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Diecast Keeper ships an update every 5 days, Modcar fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
