# Ready Steady Dad vs CertPrep

The clearest difference is update cadence: CertPrep at every 10 days against Ready Steady Dad's monthly. Ready Steady Dad's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ready Steady Dad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CertPrep sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ready Steady Dad ships an update monthly, CertPrep every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
