# Speed & Trip Tracker vs Formul

The clearest difference is update cadence: Formul at every 2 days against Speed & Trip Tracker's fortnightly. Formul also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed & Trip Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Formul sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed & Trip Tracker ships an update fortnightly, Formul every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
