# Emergency Reminder vs Kitwise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kitwise at every 2 weeks against Emergency Reminder's monthly. Emergency Reminder's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emergency Reminder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kitwise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Emergency Reminder ships an update monthly, Kitwise every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
