# Strive vs Screen Time Control

The clearest difference is ads: Screen Time Control at none against Strive's shown. Strive's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Screen Time Control sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Strive ships an update fortnightly, Screen Time Control every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 11, 2026.
