# Strive vs Unhook

The clearest difference is ads: Unhook at none against Strive's shown. Strive's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Unhook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Strive ships an update fortnightly, Unhook every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
