# Happier vs Codync

The clearest difference is rating: Codync at 5.0 against Happier's 4.4. Codync also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 5 weeks). Happier's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Codync sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Happier asks for nothing beyond the download.

Codync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Happier has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Happier ships an update every 5 weeks, Codync daily. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
