# Notix vs ACT Test Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notix at fortnightly against ACT Test Prep's every 3 months. Notix also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notix sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and ACT Test Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notix ships an update fortnightly, ACT Test Prep every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
