# Flowstate vs slowDigest

The clearest difference is update cadence: slowDigest at every 2 weeks against Flowstate's every 5 weeks. Flowstate's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flowstate sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and slowDigest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flowstate ships an update every 5 weeks, slowDigest every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
