# Genius Flashcards vs Retrieve

The clearest difference is update cadence: Retrieve at every 2 days against Genius Flashcards's every 5 days. Genius Flashcards's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Genius Flashcards sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Retrieve sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
