# Custom Widgets vs Orbit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Custom Widgets at every 2 days against Orbit's weekly. Orbit's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Custom Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Orbit sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Custom Widgets ships an update every 2 days, Orbit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
