# Custom Widgets vs Countdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: Custom Widgets at every 2 days against Countdown's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Custom Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Custom Widgets ships an update every 2 days, Countdown every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
