# Stunkelstein vs Duskroot

The clearest difference is rating: Stunkelstein at 5.0 against Duskroot's 2.0. Stunkelstein also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Duskroot's advantage is update cadence (daily vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stunkelstein sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Duskroot sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stunkelstein holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively.

Stunkelstein ships an update monthly, Duskroot daily. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
