# カレタス vs YearCal

The clearest difference is ads: YearCal at none against カレタス's shown. YearCal also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. カレタス sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and YearCal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

カレタス ships an update every 2 weeks, YearCal every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
