# Affinity vs Life

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Affinity at none against Life's 3. Affinity also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Life's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Life sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Affinity asks for nothing beyond the download.

Affinity ships an update every 3 months, Life every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
