# Edge Finder vs TRPDGT

The clearest difference is monetization model: Edge Finder at freemium against TRPDGT's subscription. TRPDGT's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Edge Finder sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month and TRPDGT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $30.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Edge Finder against 5.0 for TRPDGT. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 3 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Edge Finder ships an update every 2 months, TRPDGT every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
