# Really Remote vs Cmd+Ctrl

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cmd+Ctrl at every 8 days against Really Remote's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Really Remote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cmd+Ctrl sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Really Remote ships an update monthly, Cmd+Ctrl every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
