# EverSteps vs Basho Steps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Basho Steps at every 4 days against EverSteps's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EverSteps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Basho Steps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EverSteps ships an update every 6 weeks, Basho Steps every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
