# Absolute Ear vs AuralWise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Absolute Ear at every 3 days against AuralWise's monthly. Absolute Ear also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Absolute Ear sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and AuralWise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Absolute Ear ships an update every 3 days, AuralWise monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
