# Pensieve Note vs Libreto

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Pensieve Note at 5 against Libreto's 1. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pensieve Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Libreto sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pensieve Note against 5.0 for Libreto. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pensieve Note has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pensieve Note ships an update fortnightly, Libreto every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
