# Wholistic vs Proc

The clearest difference is monetization model: Wholistic at free with in-app purchases against Proc's subscription. Proc's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (6 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wholistic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Proc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Wholistic against 5.0 for Proc. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 6 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Wholistic ships an update fortnightly, Proc every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
