# TallyRig vs CryptVault

The clearest difference is update cadence: CryptVault at every 2 days against TallyRig's every 3 months. TallyRig's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TallyRig sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CryptVault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TallyRig ships an update every 3 months, CryptVault every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
