# Life vs Scubaful

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scubaful at every 2 days against Life's every 5 days. Scubaful also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Life sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Scubaful sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Life ships an update every 5 days, Scubaful every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
