# Up Next vs ShowSync

The clearest difference is ads: Up Next at none against ShowSync's shown. ShowSync's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 days) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Up Next ships an update every 4 days, ShowSync daily. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
