# HitchHive vs Flags

The clearest difference is device support: HitchHive at 3 against Flags's 1. HitchHive also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HitchHive sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Flags sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HitchHive ships an update every 3 days, Flags every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
