# CDL PermitPro vs CDL Prep Truck

The clearest difference is monetization model: CDL PermitPro at free against CDL Prep Truck's freemium. CDL PermitPro also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL PermitPro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CDL Prep Truck sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for CDL PermitPro against 5.0 for CDL Prep Truck. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL PermitPro has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
