# PixelPot vs Eclat

The clearest difference is ads: Eclat at none against PixelPot's shown. PixelPot's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PixelPot sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Eclat sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PixelPot against 5.0 for Eclat. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PixelPot has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of PixelPot's written reviews are positive against 84% of Eclat's.

PixelPot ships an update weekly, Eclat every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
