Stretchy Doxie turns the distance you walk into the length of your dachshund. Walk 1 m and it grows 1 m; walk 10 km and it grows 10 km. There's no limit. It's made so that even people who gave up on step counters will look forward to opening it every day. JUST WALK, AND IT GROWS The app reads "Walking + Running Distance" from Health and turns it into your dog's length. No logging or typing needed. Skip a day and nothing bad happens: your dog never shrinks or gets sad. SEE HOW LONG IT GOT, AT A GLANCE Tap "See it all" and the view zooms out at true scale until your whole dog, head to tail, fits on one screen. Pictures of Tokyo Tower, Mt. Fuji, a marathon and more line up beside it, so you can count how many your dog equals. Save or share it as an image. TODAY'S WALK Open the app after a walk to watch your dog stretch while the distance counts up. The sky and hills change with morning, day, evening and night, and with the seasons. Your dog breathes on the Home screen, barks when you tap its head, and passengers hop when you tap them. Follow the body toward the tail to see the scenery of the season you walked it, and roughly which day. CHOOSE YOUR SCENERY (NEW) Pick from four scenes: Valley path, Seaside path, Shopping street, and Above the clouds. Every scene changes its sky with the time of day. STRETCH IT ACROSS A MAP Lay your dog across a map from any start point to see how far your walking reaches. Keep going from Tokyo and one day it will reach Osaka. PASSENGERS HOP ON Walk in the morning and a sparrow hops on; at night, an owl. Cherry petals in spring, a snowman in winter, and some very rare friends too. Everyone you meet is saved in your Collection. A NEW PUP EVERY 50 KM Every 50 km of total walking, a new pup arrives. Its coat is drawn at random from the ones you don't have yet: Red, Black & Tan, Cream, Chocolate & Tan, Silver Dapple and Piebald. Name them and take turns growing them in the kennel. You choose your first pup's coat. HALLOWEEN (OCT 17 – NOV 7 EVERY YEAR) Walk during the event and jack-o'-lanterns and ghosts may hop on. Walk 3 km in total for a limited badge, and 10 km for the limited Pumpkin pup. During the event, the Pumpkin pup is also in the Shop. STATS AND BADGES See your distance and steps by week, month and year right in the app. Reach set total distances to earn badges. What each badge is stays a surprise until you get there. WIDGETS AND NOTIFICATIONS Put your stretched dog and its length on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. You'll get a notification when a new pup or badge arrives. Nothing rings at night; those alerts wait until morning. IN-APP PURCHASES In the Shop, you can adopt a pup with the coat of your choice. (Every dachshund coat can also be earned free by walking. The Corgi and Basset Hound are Shop only.) There are no ads. YOUR DATA Health data is used only on your device and never sent anywhere. Your dogs and stats are stored on your device and in your own iCloud. No account needed.
