# PrayPic vs Vaktim

The clearest difference is update cadence: PrayPic at every 2 days against Vaktim's every 2 weeks. PrayPic also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrayPic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Vaktim sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrayPic ships an update every 2 days, Vaktim every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
