# StareWatch vs ReadGrow

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StareWatch at none against ReadGrow's 1. ReadGrow's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReadGrow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. StareWatch asks for nothing beyond the download.

StareWatch ships an update every 6 months, ReadGrow every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
