# AuraPen vs SlotNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: AuraPen at fortnightly against SlotNote's monthly. SlotNote's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AuraPen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and SlotNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AuraPen ships an update fortnightly, SlotNote monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
