# KeyBindControl vs Padme

The clearest difference is ads: Padme at none against KeyBindControl's shown. Padme also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KeyBindControl sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Padme sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KeyBindControl ships an update every 2 weeks, Padme every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 11, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
