# EFB Logbook vs SimProcedures

The clearest difference is update cadence: SimProcedures at every 5 days against EFB Logbook's fortnightly. EFB Logbook's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EFB Logbook sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and SimProcedures sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EFB Logbook ships an update fortnightly, SimProcedures every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
