# DotActive vs Streak

The clearest difference is update cadence: Streak at every 5 days against DotActive's every 3 months. DotActive's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DotActive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Streak sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DotActive ships an update every 3 months, Streak every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
