# DotActive vs Logr

The clearest difference is update cadence: Logr at every 2 days against DotActive's every 3 months. DotActive's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DotActive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Logr sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DotActive ships an update every 3 months, Logr every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
