# DoomFree vs Brainrot

The clearest difference is rating: DoomFree at 4.4 against Brainrot's 2.0. DoomFree also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 11 days) and ratings volume (16 vs 1). Brainrot's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DoomFree sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Brainrot sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DoomFree holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DoomFree has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DoomFree ships an update every 4 days, Brainrot every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
