# DoomFree vs Scrollwall

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DoomFree at 100% against Scrollwall's 60%. Scrollwall's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (148 vs 16). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DoomFree sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Scrollwall sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollwall holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scrollwall has 148 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of DoomFree's written reviews are positive against 60% of Scrollwall's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DoomFree ships an update every 4 days, Scrollwall every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
