# SmartMTR for FlexRadio vs RadioMail

The clearest difference is rating: RadioMail at 4.7 against SmartMTR for FlexRadio's 4.0. RadioMail also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (16 vs 1). SmartMTR for FlexRadio's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartMTR for FlexRadio sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and RadioMail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RadioMail holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RadioMail has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SmartMTR for FlexRadio's written reviews are positive against 75% of RadioMail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmartMTR for FlexRadio ships an update every 5 weeks, RadioMail every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
