# LXP vs German

The clearest difference is update cadence: German at every 10 days against LXP's every 3 weeks. LXP's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LXP ships an update every 3 weeks, German every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
