# SetLock vs Rest

The clearest difference is update cadence: SetLock at every 3 days against Rest's every 2 weeks. Rest's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SetLock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Rest sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SetLock ships an update every 3 days, Rest every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
