# Resteeped vs Steep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Resteeped at every 3 weeks against Steep's every 2 months. Resteeped also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resteeped sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Steep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resteeped ships an update every 3 weeks, Steep every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
