# Whisper vs Afterglance

The clearest difference is update cadence: Afterglance at daily against Whisper's weekly. Afterglance also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whisper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Afterglance sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whisper ships an update weekly, Afterglance daily. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
