# Astropad Workbench vs Stash

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Astropad Workbench at none against Stash's 1. Stash's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Astropad Workbench asks for nothing beyond the download.

Astropad Workbench ships an update every 3 weeks, Stash every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
