# Astropad Workbench vs Litterbox

The clearest difference is rating: Astropad Workbench at 4.8 against Litterbox's 4.1. Astropad Workbench also leads on ratings volume (201 vs 9). Litterbox's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Astropad Workbench holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astropad Workbench has 201 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Astropad Workbench's written reviews are positive against 100% of Litterbox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Astropad Workbench ships an update every 3 weeks, Litterbox weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
